Summary of Position:
The Time and Billing Accountant I is responsible for providing and ensuring timely and accurate processing of bookkeeping tasks for the Accounting Department and assisting in all related administrative accounting functions.
Essential Functions:
• Invoice submission & tracking through multiple partner portals
• Research and respond to various email inquiries
• Monthly invoice creation for specified customer(s)
• Weekly & monthly time adjustments
• Cross train with other team members to serve as a backup during busy periods or for PTO
• Employee profile maintenance in time entry system
• Various duties as assigned, including assistance with Concur expense batch processing, assisting with invoicing non-assigned customers as needed, period management, PO allocations in Kimble, etc.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Required
1-3 years of experience
Qualifications:
• Possess basic accounting skills including general ledger knowledge
• Must have bookkeeping and previous administrative experience
• Ability to create Excel spreadsheet and run data queries
• Must demonstrate intermediate ability to work with numbers to calculate timeframes and evaluate costs and losses
• Must exhibit intermediate decision-making skills to analyze a situation and make sound decisions
