Description

Cragun's Legacy Courses is a destination golf resort located in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area of Minnesota.  The Legacy has recently completed a 15 million dollar golf course renovation and expansion designed by PGA TOUR legend, Tom Lehman.  The Legacy now offers 45 holes of brand-new championship golf, the "Dutch 27" & the "Lehman 18" golf courses.  We are also proud to host the PGA TOUR Americas event, the CRMC Championship presented by Gertens each August.  The facility is also complemented by a nine-hole short course with a separate clubhouse, two-sided practice facility, & practice green.  Our customers also enjoy our 36,000-square-foot clubhouse overlooking two finishing holes of the Dutch 27 course.  The clubhouse is the home to the Legacy Grille, a year-round bar & restaurant. 

Cragun's Legacy Courses are an amenity of Cragun's Resort located on beautiful Gull Lake.  This family-friendly resort offers many lodging options combined with its mile-long sandy beach.

Requirements

Experience Required: 

• Three years of working experience at a golf facility
• PGA Class A, Associate, or LPGA in good standing preferred
• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Golf Genius, Foreup, & Maestro applications
• Enthusiastic in creating and controlling employee schedules
• Involvement in controlling payroll and expenses
• Familiarity with golf shop purchasing, process, and control
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Knowledge of proper hiring/policies and procedures
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience managing/maintaining a golf car fleet
• Experience in growing the game of golf

Responsibilities:

• Management and supervision of the golf operations

      - Pro Shop, Outside Service, Player Assistant, Par 3, Range, Golf Cart Fleet manager

• Motivate and maintain elite customer service levels
• Assist merchandiser

      - Golf shop purchasing, receiving inventory, invoice processing & control, golf shop appearance

• Responsible for maximizing tee sheet and golf shop revenue/profit
• Build relationships with members, guests, Cragun's Resort employees, and the community
• Work directly with the "tournament" Head Professional on the preparation and execution of all leagues and large events
• Work directly with the Director of Golf on all facets of the CRMC Championship
• Work with all Superintendant staff on all tee sheets and golf course maintenance needs
• Attend weekly golf meetings and be ready to participate
• Assist Legacy Grille manager and staff
• Enforce and ensure policies and procedures of the facility are applied in an equal and fair manner for all employees, members, and guests
• Active involvement in short-term and long-term planning
• Become an ambassador of Cragun's Legacy Courses, Cragun's Resort on Gull Lake, and the CRMC Championship
• Reports directly to the Director of Golf
