Position Summary:The Conair Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences. Conair’s Personal Care Accessories department is seeking a motivated and creative Summer Intern to join the Hair Team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, marketing, and innovation of products within our renowned haircare appliances line. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in product lifecycle management, trend analysis, and market research. Key Responsibilities:

Product Development Support:

Assist in designing and developing new hair care appliances
Collaborate on sourcing materials, creating prototypes, and testing functionality and safety.
Provide input on product aesthetics, ensuring alignment with consumer trends.

Market Research and Trend Analysis:

Research market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.
Analyze customer feedback and prepare reports summarizing key insights and trends.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Maintain project documentation and track milestones to ensure smooth development.

Marketing Collaboration:

Assist in creating product descriptions, packaging concepts, and promotional content.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance product positioning and consumer appeal.

Administrative Tasks:

Organize team meetings, track project progress, and maintain documentation.
Support the team with additional tasks to ensure project success.

To be eligible for this exciting internship opportunity, we're seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2025.
The internship program starts June 2, 2025, and ends August 8, 2025.
Compensation for all internship positions is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Stamford, CT office location.
As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office three days a week. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.

Environmental Factors:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford, CT office 3 days a week.
