The Project Engineering Intern works alongside experienced Project Engineers on the execution of development, design, and certification, as well as supporting production and aftermarket for all assigned hardware. This includes detail planning and execution to assure that all critical program milestones are met and identifying the team resources required to execute the detailed component plan through design, development, manufacture, qualification, and entry into revenue service. The Project Engineer Intern has a unique opportunity to learn about strategy, development, design, production, and certification testing of advanced digital control systems both in the field and under development
What You Will Do:
- Will assist in overseeing and coordination of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
- May assist the liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
- Learns design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
- May learn about program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).
- Participates in engineering activities that further success of overall project objectives.
- Coordinate and help organize data, and prepares, maintains and develops recommendations for plans and progress reports to monitor project progress.
- Participates in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
