Part-time Internship - DevOps Engineer

The position will be located in Farmington Hills, MI.

Job Description

• For our digital services you will:

• Collaborate with the development, testing and operations team to design, develop and deploy software applications.
• Automate our software delivery pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker and Ansible
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code by improving user documentation, developer documentation and process documentation. 
• Develop, maintain and improve our monitoring and logging systems.
• Continuously improve the deployment process to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Support our customers to operate our services successfully from device provisioning to trouble shooting

Qualifications

Required:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0
• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours a week
• Ability to start latest April 2023

Preferred - an ideal candidate has preferably hands-on experience with and is personally motivated in topics like:

• GitHub repository profile link
• Experienced in vehicle testing and validation using automotive testing tools
• Interest in embedded Linux Devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone)
