We are now looking for a Manager, Safety for UPM Business Hub Wroclaw, Krakow HR Service Centre and to support UPM Raflatac. The position will be located in UPM Business HUB Wrocław.

What you will do
- Ensure applicable safety procedures and working environment with respect of physical and mental health
- Conduct inspections of working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations audits, inform the employer about the occurrence of hazards in the workplace
- Prepare (at least once a year) analyses of the technical condition of the premises
- Organize health and safety training
- Participate in the development and evaluation of plans and documentation related to the modernization of the workplace
- Ensure work related accidents are accurately reported, investigated and communicated on time as required by Polish Law Regulations and UPM Standard
- Keep records, compiling, and storing documents related to workplace accidents, review detailed instructions on workplace safety and hygiene
- Advise on the application of health and safety regulations and principles both physical and mental health
- Participate in occupational risk assessments and safety walks, taking part in development of collective labor agreements, internal regulations, and general instructions on health and safety
- Organize Quarterly OHS Committee Meetings
- Be responsible for all safety topics in UPM Kymmene sp. z o.o. – Wrocław and Kraków - fulfilling OHS Polish legal and UPM OHS standards
- Support activities for UPM Raflatac
Who you are
- You have degree in occupational health and safety, (high level education plus/or post-graduate studies in OHS as per Polish H&S service regulation)
- You have relevant work experience in health and safety roles
- You have knowledge of ISO management standards (14001; 45001)
- You have good verbal and written communications skills in English and Polish
- You are committed to achieving results and have strong personal drive

Additional information
The position is located in UPM Business HUB Wroclaw, Poland.
Ability to travel: 30% of working time
The position holder will report to Director, Head of Business Hub Wroclaw.
