Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the transition to model-based product definition, including developing implementation plans, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to leadership.
  •  Engage manufacturing, design engineering, sourcing, and other key partners to secure their buy-in and input for Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), incorporating their feedback to ensure the final product is supported by all stakeholders.
  • Establish clear project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of critical milestones.
  • Communicate effectively at all organizational levels to facilitate alignment and provide consistent progress updates.
  • Hold team members and leaders accountable for meeting deliverables and fulfilling commitments.
  • Influence key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to embrace new methods and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other Product Definition Engineering (PDE) teams, such as GT and Accessories, to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and shared success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, driving meaningful change and improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Power Generation Steam Turbine equipment and components, with experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience in project management, leadership, and communication, with the ability to present effectively and influence in a matrix environment.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting, capable of handling a diverse and challenging workload with flexibility.

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $98,400-$164,000 USD Annually.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) bonus of 10%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
