The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Fixed Assets to…

 

  • Review fixed asset transactions in S4 as prepared by external outsourcing team (including CER creation, setting up of assets, retirements, transfers, asset impairments)
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy, timeliness, and ensure proper supporting documentation is included to substantiate account balances
  • Perform monthly close procedures including capital spend settlement and depreciation posting
  • Review quarterly fixed asset roll forwards
  • Prepare/support Fixed Asset surveys for government census requests
  • Assist in NBV reporting used in brand assessment of impairment
  • Review of the monthly project status reports and quarterly asset register reviews prepared by external outsourcing team
  • Work with internal and external auditors’ requests for the Fixed Assets area
  • Participate in various ad hoc projects, as necessary

 

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting or related field
  • 3-4 Years of experience in public or private accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and focus on delivery
  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Excel

 

 

An outstanding professional will have...

  • Big 4 Experience or Public Accounting with Retail Experience
  • SAP experience a plus
