In the role of Advanced Tasking team member, you'll join a specialized group with expertise in handling complex tasks. You’ll also play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by motivating your team to analyze their work, ask insightful questions, and identify more efficient processes using lean tools and methodologies. This role directly impacts and supports patients nationwide.
Key Areas of Advanced Tasking:
- Consult Orders (Specialist Office Visits)
- Procedure Orders (MRI/CTs, Radiology, DME, Mammograms, etc.)
- Prescription Authorization (High-Cost Specialty Medications)
- Provider Support Room (Clinically urgent tasks for providers in both our office and virtual settings)
- Sexual Reproductive Health (Assisting patients with the authorization, scheduling, and coordination of complex female health procedures)
Key job responsibilities
What you'll likely work on:
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements for complex insurance authorizations.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets for at least 6 months, handling 200+ tasks per week.
- A minimum of 2 years managing referrals and navigating complex insurance portals and orders.
- Experience working in a national healthcare organization with an understanding of regional complexities.
- Proficiency in working with various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Demonstrates a positive, collaborative attitude with strong team engagement and an action-oriented mindset.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $49,920/year in our lowest geographic market up to $56,160/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
