This is a remote role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with insurance related databases and insurance analytics. Previous experience working for an Insurance Carrier or Broker.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings with clients to gather and document requirements.
- Configure RMIS platform to meet client requirements
- Perform data conversion analysis, design, testing, control balancing, data clean up, mappings and resolve exception
- Test configuration and workflows against converted data to ensure data properly supports the configuration / workflows.
- Design and build reports and dashboards to transform data into meaningful insights.
- Leverage McGriff standard configuration where possible and follow established best practices and industry standards when designing, configuring, and consulting on solutions.
- Prepare claims and insurance program analyses identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies and communicate findings effectively to internal and external clients.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analyze and document business processes and workflows.
- Prepare training materials and conduct user training.
- Seek opportunities for innovations and enhancements to existing processes and tools to further benefit colleagues and clients.
- Ability to execute independently with minimum guidance and oversight, including resolution of technical challenges, utilizing internal and external resources.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of P&C Insurance experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in business analytics or related field and 3+ years of experience in data analysis role.
- Advanced Excel experience required.
- Knowledge of database management, SQL and PowerBI.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage project timelines.
- Ability to travel as needed for educational purposes, client meetings, team meetings, or conferences, expected to be less than 10% of the time.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for an Insurance Carrier or Broker.
