Senior .NET Engineer (contract)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Engineer to lead our software development team in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies. This role demands a deep understanding of advanced .NET development practices and a proven ability to lead and mentor teams in delivering complex software projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-scale .NET applications
• Drive technical discussions, advocate for innovative solutions and improvements
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance in best practices and advanced programming techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust and scalable software solutions
• Ensure software performance optimization, security, and scalability
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and consistency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in the software development industry
• 5+ years of extensive experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC)
• Expertise in designing and architecting large-scale, enterprise-level applications
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and advanced database design
• Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles
• Demonstrated experience with web services (REST, GraphQL), microservices architecture
• Advanced knowledge of version control tools like Git, and CI/CD pipelines
