Job Title: Weekend Party Attendant

Reports To: Youth Programs Coordinator / Club Manager

Position Type: Part-Time (Weekends Only)

Position Overview

The Weekend Party Coach plays an essential role in creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for

children and families during weekend birthday parties and special events. This position is responsible for

assisting with set-up, guiding activities, ensuring smooth operations throughout the event, and completing

breakdown and cleanup after parties.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic, and enjoys working with children while maintaining a

professional and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

? Event Preparation & Set-Up

o Arrive on time and ensure all party areas are clean, organized, and decorated as planned.

o Set up tables, chairs, games, supplies, and activity stations before guests arrive.

o Check all safety measures and equipment before the event begins.

? Party Coaching & Guest Engagement

o Greet families and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.

o Lead and facilitate party activities, games, and entertainment in a fun and engaging

manner.

o Provide assistance to parents, guardians, and children throughout the event.

o Ensure all participants are supervised and safe during activities.

? Event Management

o Keep the party on schedule and assist with transitions (activities, food, cake, gifts).

o Communicate with families to confirm special requests and ensure expectations are met.

o Handle minor issues quickly and professionally, escalating concerns to management when

necessary.

? Breakdown & Cleanup

o Remove decorations, collect supplies, and properly store equipment.

o Clean and reset the party area to its original condition, including sweeping, sanitizing, and

trash removal.

o Report any damaged equipment or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

? Previous experience working with children (e.g., camp counselor, teacher’s aide, coach, or

childcare staff) preferred.

? Ability to lead group activities with energy and confidence.

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

? Highly dependable, punctual, and organized.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Must be available Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Physical Requirements

? Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (tables, decorations, supplies).

? Comfortable being active and on your feet for extended periods.

? Ability to bend, stoop, and move quickly when needed.
