Warehouse Leader

As a Plastipak Warehouse Leader, you oversee all warehouse operations for our Lima, OH production facility and corresponding off-site warehouses. Partnering with production, carriers, vendors, and customers, your team will contribute to Plastipak’s on-time delivery of high quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.  

You Will

• Direct a team of 40+ associates to achieve complete and on-time delivery of products.
• Coordinate all phases of storage, shipping, and receiving operations across three warehouse locations.
• Strategically coordinate with production teams to ensure forecasts, business demand plans, and customer deadlines are met.
• Maintain regular communication with internal leadership, customers, and carriers.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality while pursuing continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
• Ensure warehouse facilities and equipment are optimally functioning by coordinating regular preventative maintenance and service.
• Maintain and analyze departmental records including material inventory status, location of materials, and shipping/receiving documentation.

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading warehouse functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing relationships with high-profile customers and vendors.
• ERP system proficiency; SAP preferred
