About the role


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a background in the healthcare industry to join our team for a 3-year contract supporting a large-scale project awarded through a Request for Proposal (RFP). This position is contingent upon the successful award of the RFP and will commence in March 2025.

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience analyzing business and technical processes, preferably in healthcare organizations of similar size and complexity. The role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to business process modeling, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

WORKSITE: Must reside in California

CONTRACT DURATION: March 2025 - March 2028 (3 years)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyze and document business and technical processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for business and IT initiatives.
  • Develop detailed business process models, workflows, and use cases to support project objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, and status reports.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide expertise in project management methodologies and tools, ensuring effective planning and execution.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Experience: 10+ years as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in business process modeling.
    • Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and associated tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience with RFP-driven projects in large, complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Certification(s) such as CBAP, PMP, or Agile-related credentials.

Additional Information:

  • This position is tied to an RFP project scheduled to begin in March 2025.
  • The duration of the contract is 3 years, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.
  • Candidates must be available to commence work in March 2025 upon project award.
