Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Possess an advanced understanding of building codes, systems, materials, and construction methods.
  2. Possess an advanced understanding of materials and systems, code requirements, and an understanding of building envelope construction.
  3. Participate effectively and efficiently in the production of design and construction documents within budget and meet deadlines and commitments.
  4. Communicate design ideas effectively with design team members and interpret others’ ideas.
  5. Independently develop and oversee the production of construction documents for review by the project architect or project manager, including the organization and layout of drawings and sheets.
  6. Understand and coordinate activities among all members of the project team, across disciplines, client team and consultants as directed by the Project Manager.
  7. Possess strong organizational skills with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  8. Highly detail-oriented and able to produce a high quality and quantity of work on time
  9. Expert knowledge of Revit design programs.
  10. Experience with energy modeling software is desired
  11. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software is desired

1. 5-year B-Arch, or BA/BS with M-Arch.

2. Currently pursuing licensure is desired.

3. 5-10 years working experience is desired.
