Responsibilities:

• Servicing XALT batteries and associated components in Midland, MI battery service lab.
• Closely follow the investigation of field application/integration issues on-site and/or remotely.
  • Review CAN logs and telematic data
  • Help answer technical questions posed about our products from customers
  • Work closely with Engineering/Production/Lead tech to participate in root cause investigations of service issues.
• Support company goals and initiatives related to industry standards for safety and quality (Ex. ISO26262, IEC61508, QS9003, and others)

Qualifications:

• 2 years Assoc’ Degree/Current Junior/Senior College level Engineering students in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Controls Engineering.
• Experience working at the customer site and be comfortable being, “the face to the customer” by communicating and interacting with customers at the technical level.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication as well as interpersonal and presentation skills
• Hands on experience with field and lab equipment (multimeters, High voltage PPE, oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers etc).
• Working with live High Voltage (potentially 1000V)
• Demonstrate ability to understand complex electronic and mechanical systems
• Experience working with Vector Tools; CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL, etc.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus
• Exposure to Energy Storage Systems /Power Cyclers is a plus
• Experience with statistical analysis of data to establish pass/fail criteria
