Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

(SG 25 )

 

Requisition Summary

 

This position manages all activities of the accounts payable department. The Accounts Payable Manager will lead, motivate, reward, and develop the AP team and also ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.

 

 Job Functions / Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintenance of accounts payable ledger and vendor master.
• Coordinate the accounts payable department and identify improvements in the AP process.
• Prepare weekly AP metrics and follow up with other departments as needed.
• Reconcile Goods Receipt-Invoice Receipt, Accounts payable and related, and other accounts assigned.
• Prepare EBUY vs Contract Analysis, Tracking, and Clean up on a monthly basis.
• Review invoices to be paid and process payment runs.
• Review expense reports in Concur to ensure compliance with Company policy.
• Maintain department procedures and update as required.
• Support Senior Management on ad hoc requests.
• Maintains effective oral and written communications with other members of the PEC team.
• Participate in PEC internal control reviews, including Sarbanes Oxley documentation and testing.

 
Qualifications & Skills

 

• Accounting degree required.  CPA or Masters degree preferred.
• 4+ years’ accounting experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or related environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
• SAP/ERP system experience preferred.
• Well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work with ambiguous tasks and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must have demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be a hands-on self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Must be able to work with all employee levels, including senior management.
