As a Senior Product Manager on the Technical Resilience team, you will work cross-functionally to build solutions that support our Resilience Testing, Game Day Exercises, Disaster Recovery Planning, and Resilience automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, hands-on experience with AWS Resilience Hub, a proven track record in developing and implementing robust resilience strategies, and the ability to guide products from conception to launch. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance our platform's reliability and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Resilience Testing:

• Develop and execute comprehensive resilience testing strategies using Chaos Engineering Platform to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential points of failure within our systems.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build resilience testing capabilities into the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Make data-driven decisions, identify areas for improvement, and iterate quickly to enhance system robustness.

2. Game Day Exercises:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and facilitate realistic game day exercises to assess organizations’ response and recovery capabilities based on simulations of various disaster and availability loss scenarios.

• Define product strategy to scale and automate Game Day Exercises across the enterprise. 

3. Disaster Recovery Planning:

• Lead the development and maintenance of disaster recovery planning, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and ongoing relevance and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with technology, security, and business resilience teams to build solutions that seamlessly create and update documentation, procedures, and protocols for disaster recovery.

4. Product Management Operations:   

• Develop a deep understanding of users, partners, and business goals when defining the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization. 

• Own end-to-end product management operations and build strong relationships across the team and cross-functionally.

• Implement agile methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product development processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience (8+ years) in product management with a focus on resilience testing, disaster recovery planning, and AWS Resilience Hub.

- Extensive experience working with AWS services and a solid understanding of cloud architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Resilience Hub.

- Kubernetes, Terraform, SteadyBit, and Salesforce knowledge/experience a plus

- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives to enhance system resilience.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
