SECURITY SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing Personnel Security by developing policies and procedures, providing guidance, directing the initiation, rejection, revision and review of investigations for the purpose of granting clearance and access to classified information, continuous evaluation, and the CE enrolled process for OPNAV assigned sensitive billets; Serving as the leading security authority in the management of command's classified information under the authority of Executive Order 13526 while protecting and safeguarding classified holdings against unauthorized disclosure; Managing technical and marking guidance for classified document production while ensuring proper marking prior to finalization; and Providing supervision over the Industrial Security Program for classified contracts while working closely with OPNAV staff contract officer representatives to ensure the timely and proper preparation of Contract Security Classification Specifications.
