About the role

At Visor.ai, we help Customer Service teams deliver a better experience with AI and automation.

Founded in 2016, with very consistent growth over the years, we’re working with dozens of clients from different sectors such as Banks, Insurance Companies, Public Sector among others. Our headquarters is in Lisbon but we have team members working all over Iberia.

We want to integrate a Product Manager on our team to conceive, define, test, deliver, monitor, refine and withdraw a new digital product in the market to maximize business results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform (internal and external) customer research using surveys, product analytics, market research, interviews, online forums or other cost-effective means of gaining insight into the "voice of the customer." Use this insight to define customer segments that the product will target, to understand those customers' goals and to determine how they will gain value from product capabilities.
  • Analyze competitor alternatives that target customers might use. Understand which capabilities and qualities the product must have to attract customers away from competitors and to keep them satisfied.
  • Facilitate and drive alignment among critical stakeholders. Supply customer and market research and analytics to lead them toward a cohesive product strategy, vision and roadmap. This will help the business achieve its goals and objectives based on a shared view of product priorities.
  • Part of defining the roadmap is defining a release strategy — from early prototypes to a minimum viable product (MVP) to all subsequent releases.
  • Work with key stakeholders to make frequent, dynamic prioritization decisions based on the latest product analytics, product team metrics and customer feedback. Define, track and communicate key product performance indicators required to inform this process and track business results.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and refine business and pricing models for the product, whether directly (through a subscription, for example) or indirectly (based on advertising or internal user trial feedback). This requires substantial quantitative analysis skills.
  • Bring the product to market by ensuring the firm is prepared to deliver and service the product throughout its life cycle.
  • Continually monitor and refine the product.

Requirements

Experience

  • Three or more years in similar roles with increasing responsibilities across business and technology. A business-only career is acceptable if the business roles include a sufficient technology focus that equips the candidate to communicate effectively with product delivery teams.
  • Demonstrable experience engaging executives and other stakeholders to support essential business decisions.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the product management discipline by assisting a more-senior product manager or interning in a product management organization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and lean and agile software delivery.
  • Experience working in or with lean and agile software delivery teams (preferred).
  • Experience working with design professionals, within a design thinking process, including as an assistant in the user experience design process (preferred).

Track record:

  • Proven ability to address and discuss topics related to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Technology in general.

Education

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or business administration is preferred, but not required.
