About the Role:

We are currently looking for an IT BI&A Functional Architect who will be part of the IT BI&Analytics BackEnd (BE) Center of Expertise (CoE) Team and will report to the IT CoE BE Leader.
You will work in close partnership with the Global IT organization (DC, Platforms, CoEs and Regions) to effectively deploy and support IT BI&Analytics applications to the business community in accordance with the IT Global Architecture.

Main Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the whole application lifecycle, from analysis, configuration and delivery to the maintenance and retirement for BI&A products;
• Guarantees that IT applications are aligned with Ferrero’s business strategy and ensures quality of delivery;
• Acts as a subject matter expert on his/her own functional domains (BackEnd)
• Performs the functional application design in accordance with the IT Global Architecture and business needs with particular focus on data governance, data lineage and data modelling;
• Supports the IT account manager in demand collection, working with business users to collect clear requirements addressing the most appropriate IT solution;
• Collaborates with Platform Leaders, Project Mangers, Demand and Portfolio Managers, BI&A Technical Solution Architects and other Application Architects to design and support application projects;
• Works closely with the business partners and all the IT Organization to ensure applications are available, supported and maintained in accordance to business requirements, aligned with the IT Support Model and in collaboration with the Global IT Services:
• Maintains constructive relationships with suppliers to allow effective and productive evaluation of vendor offerings against business requirements, constraints and priorities.

Who we are looking for:

• Degree in IT, Engineering or Business Management;
• Experience with data governance, data modelling and BI&Analytics architectures;
• Experienced in similar roles preferably in international companies in FMCG or retail with central HQ / Service company;
• Strong knowledge on business processes and business intelligence solutions;
• Knowledge on MS Purview;
• Excellent MS-Office (excel, powerpoint) skills;
• Basic Knowledge on Azure data services,  Microsoft BI and SAP BI solutions;
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving oriented;
• Proactive and team player;
• Ability to organize and meet deadlines;
• Good communication skills across multiple organizations level;
• Ability to lead, manage and provide guidance to team member;
• Project Management and Team Management skills is a plus;
• Proficiency in English and Italian. 
• Any other language is considered a plus (German, Spanish, etc.).
