About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Indirect Tax Analyst you are primarily responsible for preparing or assisting in the preparation of Sales/Use tax returns including accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex US sales & use tax returns.
- Aptitude to follow firm standards and apply them accordingly.
- Provide assistance in resolving tax related queries and notices.
- Monitor, document and apply any changes in tax rates, tax laws for sales and use tax return preparation.
- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience.
- Establish and maintain relationships with engagement team members at various levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
You have the following technical skills or qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business-related major preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of customer service related experience preferred.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Aptitude for learning tax technical matters, workflow processes, and technology (proprietary tools).
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
- A process improvement and knowledge-sharing mindset.
- Execute effectively in cross-cultural business settings.
- This role is an on-site role and will require individuals to work in person from the assigned office.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
