About the role

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Indirect Tax Analyst you are primarily responsible for preparing or assisting in the preparation of Sales/Use tax returns including accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.

 

Your day-to-day may include: 

  • Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex US sales & use tax returns.
  • Aptitude to follow firm standards and apply them accordingly.
  • Provide assistance in resolving tax related queries and notices.
  • Monitor, document and apply any changes in tax rates, tax laws for sales and use tax return preparation.
  • Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with engagement team members at various levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You have the following technical skills or qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business-related major preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of customer service related experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Aptitude for learning tax technical matters, workflow processes, and technology (proprietary tools).
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • A process improvement and knowledge-sharing mindset.
  • Execute effectively in cross-cultural business settings.
  • This role is an on-site role and will require individuals to work in person from the assigned office.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
