What we are looking for:

 

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving products manually and with forklift trucks safely throughout the facility.

 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Read work orders to receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material, or equipment needs
  • Sort products before loading and unloading
  • Operate forklift to move palleted product to shipping area
  • Operate forklift to load semi-trucks with product
  • Safely lift and move units using forklift to place onto pallets
  • Ensure safe movement of palleted product from workstations to warehouse/shipping area
  • Assist with moving heavy objects for other departments
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require
  • Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
  • Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Frequently – Foot Use and Lift/Carry up to 10lbs
  • Constantly – Sitting

*Occasionally – Occurs up to 1/3 of the time

*Frequently – Occurs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time

*Constantly – Occurs 2/3 or more of the time
