Technical Architect (Salesforce)

As the Technical Architect, this individual will provide technical expertise and leadership as an escalation point for all personnel performing architecture and engineering tasks under this program. In this role, the Technical Architect will provide expert level advice to the Government stakeholders with regards to architecture options, best practices, and methodologies to integrate solutions and solve problems.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and implements complex, customized solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business objectives, often leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders
• Design, develop, and implement custom applications, features, and workflows within Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Components, and other tools
• Ensures alignment of Program Team’s plans, deliverables, and technology support services to the Government’s enterprise architecture
• Integrates Salesforce with third-party applications and other business systems using APIs and other integration methods
• Builds new architecture designs to support master planning initiatives
• Validates and synchronizes architecture plans with other HRC architecture teams
• Provides expert engineering for enterprise changes addressing emerging mission needs
• Conducts document, and present findings on technical research studies
• Develops Engineering and Implementation Plans (EIPs)
• Evaluate and assesses EIPs on new and emerging technologies, then present innovative solutions to leadership
• Plans, leads, and/or support technology pilots to validate proposed designs; provide surge deployment capabilities when a design is accepted for rapid deployment
• Engages in collaborative working groups and conference calls
• Supports simultaneous baselines for platforms and associated hardware configurations
• Develops and executes enterprise-level technical migration efforts, including on-premises Private Cloud, off-premises Public Cloud environments, and other projects
• Assists in developing a Development Operations (DevOps) process combining software development and IT operations into existing Technical Design processes
• Reviews plans and processes and make recommendations to reach desired outcomes
• Implements Government-approved components into the DevOps process; and build and deploy automation to take advantage of DevOps integration

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

• BA/BS Degree (degree in Computer Science/Management preferred) and 10 years of related skills and experience is required
• Must have and maintain Secret Clearance
• Current SEC+ Certification
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture best practices and standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
