The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Contracted Student Interns - Orientation Development Intern (Unpaid Internship) to perform the following duties:

Start/End Date:  6/1/2026 - 8/14/2026

Salary Rate:  $0.00 (UNPAID Student Internship)

Weekly Hours:  15 hours

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.

General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

Intern will assist DCR in developing an agencywide orientation program for new staff so that they have a shared foundation of DRC's mission, history, structure, and responsibilities. A standardized orientation would improve Agency engagement and effectiveness. The intern will learn about best programs and practices to create inclusivity and engagement in a large state agency and the creation of an orientation program. The intern will learn about DCR.
