Guidewire Developer

Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with expertise in GOSU and Scala/Java for backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Guidewire Policy Center, relational databases, and distributed systems. This role requires proficiency in developing, configuring, and integrating Guidewire applications while following industry best practices.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain GOSU language application code within the Guidewire Policy Center application.
Plan, design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate moderately complex software for functional areas.
Analyze existing software or work to formulate logic for moderately complex new systems. Understand the interface requirements and configuration architecture.
Create Design Documents for integration.
Configure the application points as per specification using Guidewire or J2EE components. Perform code review, shake down tests, and deliver work in Agile environments.
Ability to work on Guidewire Plug-ins, Messaging, and API.
Strong capabilities in relational databases, message queues, and batch systems.
