About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic International HR Specialist ( Chinese language) to join our International HR Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobility: Work with agent to apply for resident permits for Chinese employees, and apply for Chinese visa for Hungarian colleagues;
• Personal administration: Manage Chinese expatriate employees’ employment documentation, including but not limited to employment contracts, bank card, Taj card, medical check etc.;
• Project management: Actively participate in HR related projects such as OA, HRIS, payroll system design and implementation;
• Training: Compile with HR team training materials and holding training on Hungarian labor practices, Hungarian peculiarities and rules of the employment policy, Hungarian customs and culture, the SSC process, etc.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on labor statistics (e.g. number of employees, visa status, etc.).
• All other HR-relevant tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Good communication skilss in Chinese and English, proficiency in Hungarian is a plus;
• Proficient in using Office software;
• Good communication and coordination skills, with a team spirit and a service mindset.
• Cross-culture awareness and willing to embrace changes and challenges.
• Fresh graduates are also welcome.
