Maintenance Technician – JLL
What this job involves:
The Maintenance Technician has a wide range of responsibilities for electrical and mechanical systems at the assigned buildings. This includes completing preventative and general maintenance on different facility equipment, completing work orders utilizing our CMMS software system, communication with various team members, and handling client requests.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Performs service requests, ensuring that work is executed professionally, efficiently and with minimum amount of disruption to the client.
Completes general maintenance tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, plumbing repairs, change light bulbs / ballasts, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems as assigned.
Responds effectively to emergencies and support after-hours building related activity as requested.
Troubleshoots system and equipment failures.
Complies with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintains records for work completed in a neat and organized manner.
Maintains machinery, equipment and tools in working order.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 26'
Electrical and mechanical aptitude a must
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years related experience
Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
Speak fluent English
Preferred Qualifications:
Team player, hard worker, and good interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate well verbally, email and written reports
Knowledge of office furniture systems
Location:
Onsite in Fairburn, GA
Work Shift:
Schedule: Fri, Sat, Sun; 6pm-6am
Salary/ Comp:
Pay range: $25-27 hourly
