What We'll Bring:
The Senior Director, Global Process Leader, Accounts Payable (AP) and T&E will be responsible for overseeing global Accounts Payable (AP) and T&E operations and designing, standardizing, and optimizing the end-to-end global process across multiple regions/countries. This role will drive global AP and T&E operations and transformation, governance, and process excellence in partnership with Procurement, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Technology teams, ensuring a best-in-class Accounts Payable and T&E operation that is efficient, compliant, and scalable.As the strategic owner of the AP and T&E process, this role will focus on process standardization, automation, vendor management, risk mitigation, and employee experience, ensuring operations align with business growth, regulatory requirements, and transformation initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- 15+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in a global AP & T&E process leadership role.
- Extensive experience with global operations and governance in a large multinational organization.
- Expertise in process transformation, automation, and technology integration (e.g., Concur, Coupa, Appzen).
- Proven experience in leading AP and T&E process standardization and global system implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in global shared services / global business services (GBS) environments.
- Experience with AI, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and other advanced automation tools.
Impact You'll Make:
Global Process Strategy & Governance
- Define and own the global strategy, vision, and roadmap for the AP and T&E processes ensuring alignment with business objectives, Procurement, and Finance goals.
- Own and drive the end-to-end process for global AP and T&E operations, ensuring standardization, efficiency, and compliance.
- Establish global process governance with clear policies, controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs).and best practices across all regions.
- Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and digitization to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific laws, tax regulations, and reporting.
- Serve as the primary owner of the global AP and T&E process design, documentation, and governance.
Operational Excellence & Employee Experience
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant transaction processing across multiple geographies.
- Enhance vendor and employee experience; address inquiries clearly and efficiently.
- Develop an efficient and effective issue resolution model to handle inquiries and escalations effectively.
- Drive accountability for process outcomes, including efficiency, quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop and enforce globally standardized policies and procedures while accommodating necessary regional variations. Foster a culture of process discipline across all regions and teams.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Conduct periodic reviews and audits to mitigate risks and ensure process integrity.
Leadership & Change Management
- Lead a high-performing global team across multiple locations (India and Costa Rica), driving a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, policies, and technologies.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage the strategic relationship with Corporate Card providers and other vendors supporting the AP and T&E process; ensure contract compliance and service optimization.
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Tax, Treasury and Legal teams to ensure seamless operations.
