Supervising and managing teams:</p> <ul> <li>Manage staff schedules: on-call duty, absences</li> <li>Check employees' skills, qualifications and knowledge to ensure they are fit to carry out operations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>2. Manage operational activities</p> <ul> <li>Guarantee the compliance of logistics flows and the resources used</li> <li>Guarantee the integrity of transport operations (administrative and physical)</li> <li>Train employees in new practices and processes</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>3. Manage the logistics platform's budget:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise stock and purchasing management</li> <li>Validate expenditure and purchases in accordance with commitment rights</li> <li>Manage the logistics platform's overall functional budget.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>4. Manage customers' commercial offers:</p> <ul> <li>Aligning the resources available internally or from external service providers to meet requirements</li> <li>Meet customer needs and expectations</li> <li>Communicating and passing on information to the relevant staff</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>5. Consultant and customs expert:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and guarantee best practices and the implementation of customs procedures and operations</li> <li>Communicate and represent CMA SHIPS to customs authorities</li> </ul> <p><br/> 6. Manage the equipment and premises of the logistics platform:</p> <ul> <li>Manage equipment maintenance in partnership with external service providers</li> <li>Ensure that the equipment complies with current regulations and standards</li> <li>Manage and control invoices relating to these expenses</li> <li>Negotiate with our service providers to reduce operating costs</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>7. Ensuring the long-term future of the establishment:</p> <ul> <li>Canvass internal (Group subsidiaries) and external customers for new contracts</li> <li>Develop customer loyalty (internal and external)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>8. Manage the parts stock in collaboration with the buyer:</p> <ul> <li>Define a purchasing, sales and storage policy with the Purchasing Manager</li> <li>Identify recurring parts, define minimum stock levels</li> <li>Validate the purchase of parts</li> <li>Maintenance of stock held for customers</li> <li>Supervise inventories and control stocks with the logistics assistants</li> <li>Meeting the needs of the accounting and audit departments.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>To achieve your missions, you will have :</p> <ul> <li>a CMA SHIPS delegation of authority as the legal representative of the logistics platform (head of secondary establishment)</li> <li>a delegation of signature for expenses in accordance with company policy</li> <li>a power of attorney for customs representation for operations carried out by CMA SHIPS</li> <li>an occupational health and safety delegation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>PROFILE &amp; COMPETENCIES:</b></p> <ul> <li>BAC + 3 in logistics or equivalent</li> <li>6 years experience in a similar position, for a freight forwarder company or transport capacity certifier</li> <li>Skills in team management, logistics information systems, pack office</li> <li>Fluent in French &amp; English</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Come along on CMA CGM’s adventure !</p> <p> </p>
