Builds highly scalable product platforms to enable full customer experience. Works on Application Program Interface (API) based platforms to develop and manage APIs. Implements platform thinking and cloud technologies to develop and migrate applications into cloud-based platforms. Works in an agile environment using Agile ceremonies. Leads complex systems analysis and projects across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization. Understands and analyzes business requirements from stakeholders and articulates them into a project design to help/support the creation and delivery of innovative and transformative cloud-based technology solutions meeting those needs. Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather requirements, and analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges.
• Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.
• Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects, and defines project scope.   
• Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts. 
• Designs new systems based on requirements.
• Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and coordinates user acceptance testing efforts.
• Communicates progress of multiple projects to management, engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
• Serves as industry subject matter expert, and identifies other subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large and complex projects.   
• Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes.
• Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the production support organization.
• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies.  

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) developing functional and technical requirements gathering processes for the design, analysis, and solutioning of scalable and secured cloud ecosystems (for enterprise applications), using portal integrations, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and APIs.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) developing functional and technical requirements gathering processes for the design, analysis, and solutioning of scalable and secured cloud ecosystems (for enterprise applications), using portal integrations, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and APIs.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) gathering technical and functional requirements and translating them to deliver solutions that support mapping processes (business service flows and design components) for applications, documenting challenges and opportunities using gap analysis, business blue printing, and upgrade analysis.
• DE designing and delivering large scale cloud implementation projects for secured and efficient technical cloud ecosystems by integrating on-premises and cloud applications using SOAP, portal integrations, SDK deployments, and APIs to back enterprise applications for internal and external users.
• DE monitoring risks and dependencies across projects to ensure timely project delivery by tracking, reporting, and communicating project milestones and deliverables status to stakeholders using Jira or Workfront.
• DE transforming cloud-based technology solutions into effective IT visions, strategies, and roadmaps to improve user daily operational experiences (external and internal) and predict next generation needs, using leading cloud application environments (Salesforce or Amazon Web Services (AWS)).
