As a Senior Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will serve as a critical link between HR strategy and business operations, specializing in the communication and integration of comprehensive HR programs across areas such as compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management. This Senior Principal Human Resources Specialist role acts as a vital liaison between functional business areas and specialized HR departments, ensuring seamless integration and providing essential HR consulting to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary HR point of contact, collaborating closely with business leaders to address complex people and cultural dynamics. Provide expert-level expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment, including hiring, termination, and performance management.
- Act as an HR program advocate, communicating the business value of HR initiatives and assisting with effective implementation within organizations.
- Partner with business leaders and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives, including workforce planning.
- Work closely with management and employees to address root human resource dynamics, systematically attempting to mitigate employee relations concerns.
- Provide insights and strategic consultation to leaders on organizational matters that contribute to the growth of the business and team solutions.
- Guide senior leadership to enable high-performing teams, mentoring and advising them on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention, and compensation.
- Collaborate with HR functional areas to develop and deliver a full spectrum of human resource programs and services to build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals and teams.
- Support strategic workforce plans that are aligned with business strategies and objectives.
- Advise and counsel management and employees regarding the general interpretation and intent of personnel policies, practices and programs.
- Coordinate complex employee relations issues and concerns with applicable HR departments.
- Play a significant role in coordinating and providing assistance with talent management and succession planning within the organization.
- Utilize key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and provide data-driven recommendations for organizations.
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 12 years’ of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting mid-to-large organizations.
- Key skills and abilities include strategic guidance, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, regulations, and human resources management principles, including strategic consultation, organizational development, employee and labor relations, compensation, talent management, and workforce planning.
