Work Performed

Prepare patient s, equipment anmination;provide such additional care as required to meet the personal ng,assisting withambulation, enemas, skin care, and boweland bladder eliingRN/LPN of information collected.Administer treatment a nd personal care procedures to patients including,but not limited to, fe eding, bathing,shaving, changing clothing,cleaning and trimming fingerna ils, bed-makinbyreinforcing teaching instructed byRN and/or physician as needed.Assisteeds andcomfort of assigned patients.Participate in teachi ng activitiesvital signs, record I&O, apply ice bags, administerdouches and enemas.Note and report any changes in patient's condition.Turn and p osition patieoral/nasogastric feeding and urinarycatherizations/irrigati on.Perform otriatetraining.Assist with admission, discharge, and transpo rtation ofpatns.Clean assigned area; stock and replenish supplies and eq uipment asrequired.Participate in own professional development by mainta ining requiredskills validation and attending educational offerings. Sup port thedevelasrequired.Collect, deliver and conduct routine tests on pa tient specimeopment of other staff and formal learners.May also perform sterile dressients.Follow standard precautions and use personal protecti ve equipmenther related duties incidental to work described herein.
