General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Support Intern.  This intern is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate to contribute to meaningful business initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in analytics, process development, and customer engagement strategy.  The selected intern will play a key role in supporting two high-impact projects: analyzing sales performance trends and building a customer satisfaction feedback process from the ground up.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Provides support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the Interns area of study.
• Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records.
• Learns organizational processes and procedures.
• Job shadows other more experienced professionals and or support staff.
• May also support the documentation & updates of procedures or work instructions.
• Handles basic issues and problems

Basic Qualifications

Required Education:  Must be currently enrolled in related Business courses or be within 6 months of graduation

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• Strong analytical and problem Solving Skills, with experience working with data stets
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
• Interest or experience in customer feedback, survey design, or process improvement
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a professional setting
