As the Maintenance Manager, you will be at the helm of our maintenance and facility support activities, steering a culture of safety and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility's maintenance program, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality maintenance services that support our client's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Direction: Lead up to 50 technicians and 4 leaders and direct all maintenance and facility support activities and employee development.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure "Safety First" program excellence and ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Budget Management: Oversee policy implementation, budget preparation, cost control, and profit and loss responsibility for the facility.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain performance metrics records, ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer policies.
- Customer Relations: Interact with customer and client personnel to determine and act upon customer/client expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver positive outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in maintenance management, with a proven track record in supervision, planning/scheduling, and estimating. Extensive experience in Predictive and Preventative Maintenance of Conveyor Systems is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively.
- Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS)
- Work schedule flexibility to accommodate client needs and availability to provide 24/7 on call support.
- Flexibility to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with conveyor systems and robotic maintenance management preferred
- Membership and demonstrated active participation in industry related professional organizations (SMRP, IFMA, etc.) with applicable professional certification is desired.
Physical Demands:
- Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
