Lead Software Quality Assurance Analyst 

CreditSights is seeking a Lead Software Quality Assurance Analyst based out of our London, New York or Chicago office.

QA Lead will be joining a fast-paced team. The candidate will be responsible for working on multiple projects and collaborating with Product managers, Developers, QA team members, and other business associates.

We’ll Count on You To:

• Manage the full QA life cycle, including the creation of Test Strategies, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts
• Manage the end-to-end Defect life cycle management for all supported apps/platforms.
• Review stories, functional requirements, and technical designs to create test plans and detailed test cases.
• Lead the manual and automated testing efforts for multiple projects and products.
• Lead team to guide and delegate the responsibilities.
• Work independently from start of the project to the finish line.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to develop a deep understanding of product requirements and ensure proper tests are documented.
• Perform different types of tests, including functional, regression, smoke, and automation.
• Assist product and support teams in pre & post-launch activities as required.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.
• Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine the root cause of failures.
• Assist with triaging, diagnosing, and resolving issues discovered during testing.
• Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet the business objectives and deadlines.
• Work with agile software development processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Automate test cases using automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver using Java and Katalon.
• Perform DB queries (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) to create, validate, and crosscheck backend data. 
• Perform testing for APIs using tools like Postman, insomnia, etc.
• Use Jira/Confluence for creating bugs, test cases, and documentation.

 

What You Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of experience in leading high-performing QA teams.
• 6 to 8 years of overall Quality Assurance experience
• Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques
• Demonstrated experience in test strategy development, planning, design, and execution.
• Experience testing public-facing websites and portals
• Proficient in automation testing. 5-7 years of experience in automation tools like Selenium with Java and BDD, python, Katalon Studio, etc.
• 2-3 years of performance testing experience
• Background in testing tools in the Financial Services space a plus
• Experience with Postman, Insomnia, and other standard API testing tools
• Ability to communicate effectively utilizing Teams, Slack, etc. 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• 2-3 years of querying Database (SQL server, redshift, PostgreSQL etc.).
• Experience with AWS services.
• Continuous learner with the aptitude and interest in gaining advanced domain knowledge and new skills.
• Exposure to other testing tools like UFT is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience managing automated testing frameworks, ensuring integration within CI/CD processes.
