Job Description

We are looking for a talented, high-energy, team player to be part of our security engineering team developing Zscaler’s cloud platform.  Zscaler’s Security Cloud processes over 300 billion transactions a day with near-zero latency to instantly secure millions of users in 185 countries. You will develop software to detect and block different types of security threats including viruses, malware, etc. You will be expected to participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation and testing. In addition, you will be responsible for finding out and analyzing to malicious attacks and incorporating defense against them into our platform

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Antivirus Solution for accuracy, performance and scalability
• Write signatures to detect of latest malicious samples/behavior and attack vectors
• Discovering the latest threats and adding protection against them in our product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong C Programming
• Self-starter, quick-learner, able to multi-task, and collaborate with others in a team environment
• Familiar with complete software development cycle
• Experience with FreeBSD based networking solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working on Antivirus Software, preferred

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $107,250 to $165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
