About the role

Reporting to the Gaming Accounting Supervisor, the Clerk Gaming Audit is responsible for daily revenue reporting of gaming departments. Responsibilities include daily audits of revenues, cash drop verification, and daily tasks assigned by Gaming Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily tasks: audit daily work for accuracy and investigate any variances and resolve discrepancies.

  • Review daily reports.

  • Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure successful internal/external audits.

  • Reconciles revenue and expense reports to source documents.

  • Ensures standards of operating procedures are followed and met.

  • Support gaming departments with accounting and clerical functions.

  • Other duties assigned by Gaming Supervisor and/or Gaming Controller.

  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, Word) and Adobe software, including constructing spreadsheets, use of formulas and formatting.

  • Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in gaming revenue audit.

  • Proficiency in Excel and other Windows Office applications.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Able to communicate with both guests, and fellow associates, professionally and positively.

  • Highly organized with strong multi-tasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, meet deadlines and accomplish team objectives.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Nevada Gaming License.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office setting.

  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

  • May be exposed to smoke.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

  • Constant contact with executives, department management, team members, and guests.

  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.

  • Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Eye/hand coordination.

  • Use of standard office equipment.

  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
