To learn more about Convatec, please visit <span>http://www.convatecgroup.com</span><p><br/> </p><p><b><span>About the role </span></b></p><p>In the position Senior Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading development of high-volume manufacturing processes for new products. As a central member of new product development projects, you will secure duly attention to Design for Manufacturing and will develop and verify suitable and robust manufacturing processes. In parallel you will investigate the opportunities to test, mature and introduce new technologies and processes that may increase efficiency in future manufacturing.</p><p>This position is based in Denmark, and the primary work location will be in Osted, south of Roskilde, where the production is located. We offer a hybrid office environment, with the possibility to work from home or occasionally from our Søborg office 1-2 days a week, as it fits your tasks. You will report to the Manager, Process Development DK.</p><p><br/> </p><p><b><span>Your key responsibilities </span></b></p><ul><li><span>Apply structured DfM analysis on selected product concepts in projects and clearly flag designs and processes problematic to effective high-volume manufacturing.</span></li><li><span>Apply Design for Six Sigma to secure a data-driven base for decision making, to systematically determine critical parameters and process windows.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate and drive production of prototypes in close liaison with the projects, process development colleagues and operators at production sites.</span></li><li><span>Perform manufacturing tests, design of new jigs and test rigs, identify and communicate with external suppliers of services, technologies, materials, and manufacturing equipment.</span></li><li><span>Produce a thorough and structured documentation package that conform with regulatory requirements and good documentation practice, securing a smooth development process and efficient hand over to the engineering department.</span></li><li><span>Liaise with the Engineering Department and the Advanced Operations organisation to embed knowledge from manufacturing to select processes and map process related problems which may be solved in future manufacturing. </span></li><li><span>Participate in project meetings and contribute to the efficient flow of information, clear communication, and proactive involvement of relevant stakeholders.</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>About you</span></b></p><p><span>As a person you are structured, well organised and have a holistic approach to problem-solving. You actively take a lead on tasks and independently engage with stakeholders to collect relevant information to scope and time activities. You thrive in a cross functional project environment and use your good communication skills to highlight the critical path of activities and prerequisites for performing the process development tasks. You are curious on new ways of doing things, continue to challenge status quo and come forward with proposals and ideas. Y</span>ou are a distinct team player with a sense of urgency to meet your deadlines. You have proven analytical and problem-solving skills that will help you to develop robust processes. You understand the importance of good documentation practices and see the value in creating solid documentation.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Have a Bachelor, Diploma, Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.</span></li><li><span>Have +10 years’ experience with process development for high volume manufacturing of medical devices.</span></li><li><span>Project management or lead experience from cross-functional project settings will be an advantage.</span></li><li><span>Good understanding of the Design Control and GMP regulatory framework and documentation requirements.</span></li><li><span>Experience with DoE’s, SixSigma and process validation is an advantage.</span></li><li><span>An inherently independent, proactive, driven, and structured work aptitude is desired.</span></li><li><span>Good communication and stakeholder management skills.</span></li><li><span>English language proficiencies to function successfully in a multinational cooperation.</span></li><
