The role
This role will benefit from being part of Elekta’s Centre of Excellence based in Warsaw, whilst reporting directly to the Director, Global Marketing & Customer Intelligence based in the UK. The Market and Customer Intelligence Team is an establish global team responsible for providing stakeholders with the insight needed to make informed business decisions on the market, competitors and customers.
Your role will be to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business to shape, scope, and execute global, business critical market, competitor, and customer projects, aligned to the strategic direction of the function. Given the nature of these projects, most will involve IT or BI development, and will be implemented through Sales, Marketing and Operational teams. You will be acting as a change manager, making sure the changes introduced by projects (in processes, IT systems, etc.) are implemented and adopted successfully throughout the organization.
About you
You'll have strong project management skills, preferable across more than one project management discipline, and have a background in successfully delivering projects with an IT element. You’ll be comfortable having a hands-on approach and be able to manage a portfolio of different projects. You will have strong interpersonal skills, transitioning smoothly between high level of detail and strategic overview, and love working across and engaging different stakeholders to deliver a quality outcome that achieves business value.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and implement a portfolio of projects ensuring that all are delivered within agreed timescales and scope, and ensuring that the benefits and outcomes are in line with expectations.
- Lead workshops to define project scope, OKRs and deliverables, and to define IT requirements, involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Manage, balance and source project delivery resources, both internal and external.
- Develop testing scripts and support in the testing of the solution, acting as test manager, and ensure outcomes of tests are recorded, monitored and resolved.
- Be a point of contact with the many different stakeholders, developing and executing effective communication activities to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged.
- Develop, monitor and manage project report(s) to monitor and track progress including regular stakeholder feedback reports and OKR scorecards.
- Plan and help execute training plans to ensure effective adoption of project, and help provide ongoing training support post go-live to ensure changes are imbedded in the organization in the long term.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and undertake risk management to minimize risks and issues.
- Develop and maintain robust project documentation, including procedures, process maps and training documentation, ensuring all appropriate documentation is updated and maintained on the global BMS System.
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent, with 3-5 years of project management experience
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Proven experience working across multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in working with and delivering projects within IT setting
