Location: Position is based out of our La Grange, KY office location. Position offers hybrid work options. Work hours will be based on Eastern Time Zone.
About the Opportunity

As part of the Finance team, you will, as a Senior Technical Accounting Specialist, play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with high-quality financial insights. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support strategic initiatives, including acquisition due diligence and post-deal integration.
- Assist with consolidation and reporting processes for multiple entities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting templates and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board.
- Support external audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
What experience you bring (Role Requirements)
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as required.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills required.
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Public accounting experience (Big Four or regional firm strongly preferred).
- Experience with accounting/reporting in a high-growth or private-equity-backed environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare or payment integrity industries a plus. <
