Job Summary

As the Catering Manager at JPMorgan Chase, you will be lead all catered services under the direction of the Director of Dining. This position requires outstanding interpersonal and hospitality skills as 50% of the role consists of administrative functions; communications with clients regarding catered events, submitting proposals, invoices and billing. The catered service volume as this account entails approximately 20 standard corporate catering functions per week (breakfasts & lunches) and 2 large, campus-wide functions per month. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans and performs all catered events

Involved in catering events operations, including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and all facility-related activities.

Works with the Chef in creating menus.

Trains and supervises hourly catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.

Tracks and monitors the labor and food cost for each event.

Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships.

Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.

Qualifications:

Foodservice experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.

High end hospitality skills

Strong communication skills

Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
