The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing testing strategies to support our company’s business goals and user requirements. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and consistently engage with stakeholders and provide leadership to a small group of testing resources. This role will be expected to work on CST/EST business hours.

About your role:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, both exploratory and scripted, using X-Ray.
• Mentors junior and mid-level QA testers, providing them with guidance and expertise
• Reviews and analyzes system specifications and collaborates with teams to understand product changes and QA testing requirements.
• Contribute to developing a comprehensive software development metrics suite for understanding the quality state of various projects.
• Contribute to the establishment of QA testing guidelines and documenting processes in Confluence.
• Identify and thoroughly document system defects
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Collaborate with developers/product managers to understand system requirements and identify gaps
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Must be a vocal advocate for the user
• Must be a vocal advocate for quality software development processes, this role will collaborate in areas beyond Quality Assurance

Requirements and Skills:

• Must have a working knowledge of test management tools for regression and functional testing
• Must have extensive experience testing mobile applications in both Android and iPhone contexts
• Must have experience with offshore/near-shore leadership
• Must have experience with testing APIs directly (Postman, JMeter, etc.)
• Documenting new features, processes in Confluence
• Experience configuring JIRA (Workflows, Screens, Issue types, validations, Field configurations, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• 5 years of QA experience required
• At least 1 year of lead experience required
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Experience with PLSQL a plus
• Experience with JavaScript a plus
