Senior Insurance Analyst
PURPOSE
The Senior Insurance Analyst will manage all aspects of the Primary Casualty (workers’ compensation, general/product liability/auto liability), Excess Liability, Clinical Trials, Aircraft/UAV and Business Travel Accident insurance programs. Provide customer service to internal and external customers who have questions or needs relating to insurance. Knowledge of contractual insurance language is critical in this role.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- HR – frequent communication to coordinate WC/STD/FMLA offsets and to obtain employment data necessary for claims management.
- Payroll – regular communication to obtain data required for claims management.
- Corporate Travel – periodic communication regarding Business Travel Accident insurance including required insurance renewal data.
- Legal – weekly (or as necessary) to discuss claim issues.
- Marsh – regular communication regarding management of the Primary Casualty insurance program; support renewals, as necessary.
- Routine communication with field or site employees on insurance needs (general questions, bond or insurance certificate requests, seasonal labor issues).
- Pallas – regular communication regarding transit/warehouse claims management.
- Riskonnect Database – monthly or as needed to address service issues or data quality/integrity.
- Actuarial – regular communication to coordinate the annual actuarial reviews for workers compensation and auto liability claims.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in insurance or related experience.
- ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) Certification.
- Customer-focused partnering: Ability to independently and proactively provide support to internal and external customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions; Serving asan architect to meet their needs
- High learning agility: Capable of quickly understanding new concepts and adapting to changes in processes or regulations while still maintaining strong attention to detail
- Networking: Develops a network of internal and external contacts appropriate to the role, providing coaching as necessary and the ability to build strong internal global relationships
- Attention to detail: Strong ability to pay attention to details in insurance policies and claims reports
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to synthesize information to the right level of detail.
