Location: Downham Market, Norfolk
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM until finish (typically 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Prep Room Operative to join our team in Downham Market.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing fresh fruit and vegetables by peeling, slicing, trimming, and cutting produce to specification.

* Operating knives and commercial food preparation machinery safely and efficiently.

* Accurately weighing, packing, and preparing orders for distribution.

* Following HACCP procedures and maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

* Ensuring all work areas and equipment are kept clean and compliant with health and safety regulations.

* Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in food preparation or a similar production environment.

* Good knife skills and confidence using food preparation equipment.

* Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.

* Physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks and standing for extended periods.
