The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, a passion for technical design, and a keen interest in integrated design and delivery processes. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of project development.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Technical Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform structural engineering analysis, design, and calculations for vertical building structures under the direct supervision of a senior engineer.</li> <li>Analysis and design of structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems for vertical building structures.</li> <li>Participation in submittal of documentation for permitting/regulatory review with multiple local agencies and jurisdictions.</li> <li>Utilization of the latest structural engineering analysis and design software.</li> <li>Utilization of Autodesk Revit Structure building information modeling (BIM) software.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Core Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of design documentation including BIM models, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.</li> <li>Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, systems, and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architecture, sustainability, construction, and other consultants, to support the integrated delivery of projects.</li> <li>Perform onsite surveys of existing building conditions and documenting field measurements and observations.</li> <li>Perform construction phase activities including submittal review and construction site observations.</li> <li>Participate in cross-discipline career development.
