The following challenges await you:

• In your role as Global Head of IT (m/f/d) you are responsible for all business related IT projects, applications and infrastructure of Heraeus Conamic. 
• With your team of seven direct reports and the coordination of the Heraeus central IT teams you support the business at six international production sites, ensuring stable day-to-day operations while contributing with with value-delivering IT solutions enabling digital transformation and innovation.
• As a member of the Global Management Team you are driving the development and implementation of the IT Strategy, supporting the global business requirements especially focusing on excellence, resilience and competitive edge.
• You advise the different business functions on IT technology and its implementation, with a holistic view on business priorities and IT capabilities. 
• As IT Business Partner, you represent our business priorities within the central Heraeus IT Organization and shape the overall IT strategy going forward.
• You ensure a professional execution of IT projects, manage the different teams and stakeholder, and control overall budget and priorities.
• You drive our goal of digitalization through the organization, and ensure the build-up of necessary competencies and qualification.

 
Your Profile:

• 10+ years IT work experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent communication skills - being able to connect with all business functions, to involve various stakeholder, and to manage the different project teams 
• Strong customer focus - curios about understanding the business needs, and necessary skillset to drive your teams for results
• Leadership skills - to manage and develop your team, cooperate with the various different functions, and to coordinate Heraeus Corporate IT teams
• Relevant working experience in an international organization and IT for manufacturing industries
• Ability to bring together a long-term strategic view with short/mid-term operational necessities
• High energy level and excitement for driving our Conamic business forward
• Fluent in English and German in spoken and written
