Since 1992, CVSS has been a trusted leader in specialty surgery, known for advanced procedures, a collaborative culture, and a commitment to the highest standard of patient care. The Medical Director role
This is a unique opportunity for a surgeon who wants to continue practicing at a high clinical level (approximately 60% clinical, 40% administrative) while helping to shape the future of a premier surgical practice. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing medical leadership and ensuring exceptional standards of care
  • Guiding, mentoring, and supporting our doctors and teams
  • Partnering on financial goals and operational strategy
  • Addressing client concerns and fostering strong referral relationships
  • Spending dedicated time at both our Annapolis and Hunt Valley hospitals

As part of Ethos Veterinary Health, you’ll also participate in Leadership Essentials, a structured program designed to support new Medical Directors in their management journey.

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation package, including an anticipated management stipend (dependent on experience)
  • State-of-the-art facilities with the latest surgical and imaging technology
  • 24-hour ICU coverage and access to a network of specialists for truly comprehensive care
  • A strong, collaborative team culture where your leadership will make an immediate impact

Located in the heart of Maryland, our two sites give you the best of both worlds: the historic charm and waterfront lifestyle of Annapolis and the vibrant community of Hunt Valley, just outside Baltimore.

If you are a surgeon ready to take the next step in your career, balancing clinical excellence with leadership opportunity - we’d love to hear from you.

The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $220,000 to $280,000 per year.
