Visiting Assistant Professor position in Sculpture (One Year Term)

The Program in Studio Art invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Sculpture beginning in Fall 2025. Teaching responsibilities include: one section of Sculpture in the Fall, one section during Winter Term and one in the Spring.

Qualifications

Applicants will also be expected to guide student thesis work in sculpture. Applicants must have knowledge of traditional processes, active exhibition record, as well as engagement with contemporary dialog in the discipline. Candidates must be an artist who is able to participate in an active, cross-disciplinary studio program within a liberal arts environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to deliver content relating to a broad constituency across the College’s curriculum with the goal of broadening the institution’s dialogue with contemporary culture.
