We have an exciting opportunity to join the Raytheon Finance team on a unique international assignment. Raytheon is looking for an in-country Finance Manager who will play an instrumental role in the Raytheon Middle East Region and specifically the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Finance organizations.
In this role you will support and coordinate tactical financial responsibilities for Raytheon Doha, RAYSEAS (Qatar, Bahrain, Oman & Kuwait) and in-country activities including program cost schedule control, indirect budgets and rates, accounting, and business planning. You will be responsible for supporting financial reviews including EAC's and maintaining a focus on ethics, compliance, and governance while meeting internal and external requirements.
This role provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to collaborate across the program leadership team, including Program Directors, Program Managers, technical leads, and functional managers and support teams. The individual will have a key role in the pursuit, set up and execution of multiple contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance. In addition to the recurring role activities this individual will be expected to perform ad-hoc requests, design and execute creative solutions/opportunities to program and process challenges and assist in the development of fundamental and intermediary analytical skills of junior analysts.
As a strategic business partner, you will rely on your prior experience to provide critical thinking and model best practices while providing support to program implementation and processes as subject matter expert in the GCC. You will support the financial plan for Qatar programs including the annual operating plan, long range plan, and financial reporting.
You will collaborate with all Program Management Teams, Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other Cross Business Team (CBT) supporting the Qatar portfolio. You will also be collaborating with both US-based and MENA regional teams to support program implementation and in country office administration activities. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of 2 financial professionals located in Doha while helping to lead the broader US-based finance team.
This onsite Accompanied position that will be in Doha, Qatar for a 2-year international assignment with additional compensation.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate financial performance and plan, working closely with the regional key team members and CONUS Program counterparts to ensure financial targets are met and investment decisions are sound and support Raytheon’s strategic plans.
- Provide Program Cost & Schedule Control key team members and support for Qatar programs.
- Support in-country operations and financial activities including coordination with local vendors, assisting in new employee onboarding / relocation, records administration, and other office operations activities.
- Support new business activities including proposal development, resource planning and program start up activities.
- Collaborate with various functional disciplines (Requirements and Capabilities, Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Program Management, etc.) to identify and implement change initiatives that improve core processes and efficiency.
